Q85 – QUINCY JONES 85th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION PERUGIA – FRIDAY JULY 13 – ARENA SANTA GIULIANA at 21.00 Quincy Jones “on stage” presents: Dee Dee Bridgewater, Noa, Gil Dor, Patti Austin, Take 6, Ivan Lins, Alfredo Rodriguez & Pedrito Martinez, Paolo Fresu UJ Orchestra conducted by John Clayton, with Nathan East & Harvey Mason Quincy Jones Arrangements To celebrate the 85th anniversary of this icon of music Umbria Jazz has organized a show that is also a birthday party. On the stage of the Santa Giuliana arena will be alternated, presented by the same Jones, great artists who in the past have worked with him: the American song star Patti Austin, the virtuosi of jazz vocals Take 6, the queen of nu soul Erykah Badu, a great of Brazilian music, Ivan Lins, and, from Cuba, Alfredo Rodriguez and Pedrito Martinez.
