PETER BEETS New Jazz Orchestra The Netherlands’ best jazz pianist Peter Beets, internationally recognized as “A World Class Jazz Act” (DownBeat), has built up a loyal following with his successful performances in the = style of Oscar Peterson and his beloved arrangements of classical music. His trophy cabinet includes an Edison (2010), the Prix Martial Solal (1998) and the Pall Mall Export Swing Award (1988). Beets delivers very well received jazz albums, with his trio, in duo with Rosenberg or with Henk Meutgeert / Peter Beets New Jazz Orchestra. In 2017, the pianist and the leading conductor/arranger joined forces. Now that Meutgeert is saying goodbye, the orchestra will continue as the Peter Beets New Jazz Orchestra. It consists of the best exponents of the Next Generation of Dutch Jazz.
