John Clayton Jazz
Featuring The Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and the Ellis Marsalis Trio

Regarded as one of the premiere big bands in the U.S., the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra was formed in 1985 by bassist/composer John Clayton, saxophonist Jeff Clayton, and drummer Jeff Hamilton together with an all-star lineup of Los Angeles-based musicians.

Ellis Marsalis is regarded by many as the premier modern jazz pianist in New Orleans.  In 2011, Marsalis and his family were awarded the highest honor in Jazz and were named NEA Jazz Masters, the first group award ever distributed by the National Endowment for the Arts.
