The Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra
Formed in 1985, the CHJO is today’s hardest-swinging big band, composed of an all-star lineup of Los Angeles-based musicians with three leaders: Grammy-winning bass player John Clayton (Quincy Jones, Count Basie Orchestra, Paul McCartney, Gladys Knight), multi-reed virtuoso Jeff Clayton (Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson) and master drummer Jeff Hamilton (Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown). With its sizzling charts, this band will blow the roof off our small theatre!
