The swinging and sophisticated sounds of the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra have kept audiences enamored for more than 30 years. The Grammy-nominated orchestra has an amazing pedigree. Saxophonist Jeff Clayton and bassist John Clayton have both worked with Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Paul McCartney and with Count Basie’s renowned band. Jeff Hamilton established his reputation as one of the great living jazz drummers in the bands of legends Basie, Lionel Hampton, Woody Herman and Oscar Peterson. Possessing technical instrumental prowess and excellent jazzmanship, the 19-piece orchestra has recorded with celebrated jazz artists, John Pizzarelli, Gladys Knight and Diana Krall and is today considered one of jazz’s great big bands.
